Barbora Kasparkova poured in 26 points as the Czech Republic came from behind in the final two minutes to open their U20 European Championship Women Division B campaign with a 66-60 win over Belgium.
The Czechs would have been home free were it not for some dismal free throw shooting, but instead Belgium eradicated what was a 56-47 Czech lead with 6:22 to go.
The Belgians led, 60-59, on Alisson Mai's free throws with 2:16 to go, but Kasparkova responded with a jump-shot and two free throws to turn it around before Karolina Elhotova's three-pointer made sure.
The Czechs made just 7-of-15 (46.7%) from the charity stripe.
Emmanuella Mayombo led Belgium with 21 points.

But Artemis Spanou came up with big baskets down the stretch to win it en route to a game high 12 points with 13 rebounds.
