|Ellen Nyström dished out a game-high nine assists for Sweden|
Sweden followed up their pulsating victory against Spain by wrapping up their Second Round campaign at the U20 European Championship Women with a 73-50 win against Lithuania to proudly finish top of Group E.
After the high tension and break-neck speed of the previous night's exploits, this was a more gentile affair, although the already eliminated Lithuania did play hard throughout but just couldn't cope when Sweden shifted through the gears.
It was perhaps understandable Sweden took a little time to find their rhythm and they lacked a little energy during the first couple of quarters although did manage to corral a slender 33-31 lead thanks mainly to eleven points from Farhiya Abdi.
Perhaps then appreciating the true gravitas of another victory, Sweden came out with a real verve after the break and having stretched the gap to 48-39 at the end of the third period, they took care of business with a powerful 25-11 final quarter.
Abdi finished with 21 points while point guard Ellen Nyström dished up nine assists for the Swedes who wait to see which team will finish fourth in Group F and then match-up with them in the Quarter-Finals.
