Alina Iagupova added another impressive performance to her list, completing her triple-double already at the end of the thid quarter
Alina Iagupova showed her all-round skills and influence by completing a wonderful triple-double at the U20 European Championship Women as Ukraine moved into the Quarter-Finals and eliminated Serbia with an 85-63 Second Round success.
Finishing with a spectacular 24 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists, she racked up her triple-double with three minutes remaining in the third quarter, grabbing both the defensive rebound and assist she needed during the same possession.
Following up their impressive win against Russia, it was clear from the outset Ukraine was destined to take the win since Serbia again looked lethargic which certainly didn't help them in their quest to contain Iagupova.
Ukraine raced into a 26-17 first quarter lead and then re-enforced their superiority thanks not only to the contribution of Iagupova, but some truly excellent displays right throughout their roster.
Oleksandra Check and Lyudmyla Naumenko eventually finished with a combined 36 points to play a pivotal role in underpinning the headline performance of Iagupova and this was instrumental in facilitating a 47-32 half-time lead.
It looked a long way back for Serbia as they hit the locker rooms and their prospects of a revival faded away on their return as Ukraine continued to hold the upper hand for the remainder of the game.
Anna Kiriyenko and Mariya Tach both also weighed in with important cameos for Ukraine who continues to look more and more convincing as potential podium candidates as the tournament unfolds.
