9. Zera Butter (Netherlands)

An incredible opening quarter for the Netherlands and a stellar 30-point display by Zera Butter provided the launch-pad for a fantastic 84-59 win against Belarus at the U20 European Championship Women which was more than enough to take the last remaining Quarter-Final berth.

During a blistering first ten minutes against the already qualified Belarus, the Dutch were unstoppable, blasting their way into an early 30-13 advantage which certainly served to ease any pre-game nerves in what was a must-win game.

The Netherlands used a super inside-outside balance on offence and with the energy and determination defensively, they completely dominated Belarus who were blown away inside the first quarter.

It was a nightmare scenario for Poland who needed a Belarus victory to avoid being eliminated but if they were hoping for a Belarussian renaissance it didn't arrive.

In fact, it only got worse as the Netherlands continued to step on the gas to go 23 points in front at the interval.

Belarus did at least threaten an unlikely comeback during a much improved third quarter when they finally found their range but they never seriously threatened to spoil the Dutch celebrations.

And, with Butter in such irresistible form, the Netherlands weren't going to be denied their Quarter-Final clash with Ukraine.

Belarus meanwhile will play against Turkey in the last eight.
