Sonja Greinacher did most of the damage for Germany with 25 points and 15 rebounds in their second win

Germany took another step towards avoiding relegation from Division A as they won a second straight game, beating Romania 65-50 at the U20 European Championship Women.

Sonja Greinacher poured in 25 points and pulled down 15 rebounds in an outstanding performance as Germany dominated the second half to pull away, having trailed 23-21 at half-time.

Finja Schaake also had a big game for Germany with 19 points.

Cristina Bigica led Romania with 17 points and 11 rebounds while Sonia Ursu had 11 points.

Slovakia won their third game on the bounce by seeing off Belarus 60-49.

Marta Palenikova scored 15 while Sabina Oroszova added 10 and 13 rebounds.

Nadzeya Bohdan poured in 16 points for Belarus.
