Spain's Queralt Casas had another great game with 18 points and six rebounds
Spain punched their ticket for the Second Round with ease after producing another stunning performance to rout helpless Lithuania 93-55 at the U20 European Championship Women.
Coach Anna Caula and her players had already soundly beaten Belarus on the opening day and their second victory of the tournament was every bit as convincing, bearing all the signs of a team intent on medal success.
They dismantled their opponent with the chilling ruthlessness of a champion team who is already looking like a potential runaway train during the early stages of the competition.
Leading from tip to buzzer, Spain showed no mercy to Lithuania and even when they returned from the locker room having already built up a commanding 14-point lead, they still kept up the tempo at both ends of the floor.
Lithuania tried in vain to stem the flow but could barely make an impression on the game due to the intensity of the Spanish defence.
There was a host of terrific performances right down the length of the Spanish roster with Queralt Casas again impressive and Mariona Ortiz dishing up nine assists.
